Mark Wahlberg’s workouts are pretty insane, and extremely early. When I was working in the hotel industry in Boston on my first day I met Mark Wahlberg. I can personally attest to the fact that Mark Wahlberg loves the gym. Guests used to come to me at my hotel and complain that someone above them was slamming things down at 3 in the morning in the hotel room above, but I was unable to tell them that the noise they were hearing was coming from Wahlberg’s intense workout. But how much does he love workouts? Well, he does wake up at 2:30 AM for his morning exercise. Talk about a disciplined individual.

For most Americans, this would seem outlandish – but to Mark, it’s something that makes him feel young, strong, and energized – and it certainly shows.  According to his Instagram his schedule looks as follows

2:30 a.m. wake up
2:45 a.m. prayer time
3:15 a.m. breakfast
3:40-5:15 a.m. workout
5:30 a.m. post-workout meal
6 a.m. shower
7:30 a.m. golf
8 a.m. snack
9:30 a.m. cryo chamber recovery
10:30 a.m. snack
11 a.m. family time/meetings/work calls
1 p.m. lunch
2 p.m. meetings/work calls
3 p.m. pick up kids from school
3:30 p.m. snack
4 p.m. workout No. 2
5 p.m. shower
5:30 p.m. dinner/family time
7:30 p.m. bedtime

True strength and endurance comes from a consistent routine. Mark clearly knows that, but it’s easier said than done. One of the best youtube videos you will ever see is James Cordens futile attempt to try and do Mark Wahlberg’s workout in this clip below.

Mark Wahlberg’s Diet:

Not only is his workout structured and planned meticulously, but his diet is godlike as well. Check out some of the meals he typically eats. Foods such as Kalamata olives, peppercinis, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers, and hard-boiled eggs. It seems a majority of his diet consists of things such as steak, chicken, whey protein, some pasta, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, and apples. His strict workout plan and diet plan is a testament to his willpower and perseverance. I’m not a gambling man but I’d be willing to wager he still has several years of action movies ahead in his successful career.
